This is my winter car since the Monte and Trans Am are absolutely HORRIBLE in the snow. This is also my vehicle when the roads are covered in salt since salt is EVIL!!!This Jeep has over 190,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. It runs great. I don't know why but I'm not gonna argue.
My parents bought it in 1995 when it had 120,000 miles on it. It was in showroom condition and was owned by an older couple who liked to drive to Florida every winter. My dad kept it in prime condition and when it hit 185,000 they gave it to me. On Monday, October 28 2002, I traded the Jeep in for a down payment on a 2002 Hyundai Elantra. I do like my new car and everything, but I will miss the Jeep as it has been in the family since 1995. It got our family to its destinations safely during snowstorms for 7 years. This is truly one of those vehicles that "they don't make anymore". |
