| You Can Do All Things |
| Shaped with perfection, the source of discipline and correction. The strongest man's weakness, because of your never ending sweetness. And yet the weakest man's strength because of your sound judgement and common sense. Heir to the throne of a kingdom that stands alone. Often cheated but never defeated. My African queen stands victorious in battles unseen. She has weathered the storm and like a rose retained her elegant form. The intensity and drive in her heart makes her from all others stand apart. No longer shall we search for an example to follow, for in her we have out best role model. Her soft touch and genuine smile, are remembered by every black child. Through the trials of life she is constant by her husband's side. And he knows in her he can confide. When harvest time comes for the seeds you've sown, your hard work and dedication won't go unkown. So when it seems your struggles go unappreciated, never doubt your importance, for that can not be debated. Follow your desires and let nothing earthly intervene, you can achieve all things you are my African Queen. by Carl E. Darris 04/28/01 |
