| I picked up a Mac SE/30 at Amvets for 23.00! This includes an external Superdrive floppy, 2 mice, an extended keyboard, and an Imagewriter II dot matrix printer. The Mac had OS 6, a version of MS-Word, and a copy of SoftPC, which allowed the Mac to run Dos programs (it includes MS-DOS 3.3). I ran my 1993 Turbo Pascal Compiler on it, and it works! (although very slowly!) A program that compiles on my 1997 vintage HP Pavillion 200 MHZ MMX Pentium in about 0.3 seconds takes about 3-4 minutes. ...but it compiles! |
