Computer Maintenance Operations & Repair
| Prerequisites: | No prerequisites, but knowledge consistent with the Intro to Computers class is helpful. Not for beginning computer users. |
| Content: | Hardware/Software, operating systems, proper computer maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Includes beginning binary and hex numbering systems. |
| Projects/In Class Activites: | Mostly project oriented, but students will also read a variety of materials to be kept in their notebooks for future reference. |
| Grades: | Straight percent based on work, tests, and quizzes. |
| Homework: | 20 minutes per day, depending on unit being studied. Work not completed in class becomes homework. |
