At the begining of the game, Pierre sucks. A lot. Although is path into
Viper Manor is the easiest, he has low HP and low stats all around. However,
later in the game, if you give him the right weapon like Slasher or Hero's
Sword, he's really not that bad. Still, you're better off picking a better
swordsman, like Glenn or Turnip.
Getting Pierre: Talk to him behind Zappa's Smithy before going into Viper
Manor. Step outside and get the Hero's Medal from the kid running in circles.
Show him the medal and he'll join.
Level 7 tech: Give Pierre the Prop Sword (found in the Tower of Geddon)
