Social Science Presentations
You will be presenting your individual answers to the social science
teaser questions on Friday, April 29th during our double class. You should aim for a presentation of ten
minutes or less, but the time will depend on how complete your answers are and how
able you are to be succinct (put your ideas into as few words as possible).
You will use Thursday’s class time in period 4 working with your group
mates to try out and share your answers and to relate them to the essential
questions. So, you need to come with
your questions to the teasers answered.
You will be marked on how well you answer your particular social science teaser question (or questions), and how well you relate it to the essential questions. You must finish within ten minutes (I will cut you off at that time). You can also gain extra points by answering more than one question. (Be clear that this is what you are doing at the start of your presentation. You will be given extra time if you choose this path.) You will be awarded points by using info derived from the answers to teaser questions from your group members, and from information derived from the reading assignment. (Be clear when you are doing this.)
