Use the course CD-ROM for the following:
  1. Insert the Chemistry CD and then go to the drive menu and open Index. This will open the CD in your web browser.
  2. Click on Begin which will take you to a "What's on the CD" page. Now click on Contents. What are the four things you will find on the CD?
  3. Watch a demonstration on vapor pressure. What is the liquid being observed?
  4. Look at problem 1a) from Chapter 1 and give the answer.
  5. According to the glossary, what is the definition of "accuracy?" Hint: Look under the
  6. From the Study Guide for Chapter 1 watch a video on density. How many grams of substance do they calculate in the video example?
  7. Still using the Study Guide find a page of worked examples and read the one on density from Chapter 1. How many grams of mercury are there in the answer?
  8. What size graduated cylinder do you need in laboratory experiment 1?.
  9. Type the answers to questions (2 to 8) in an e-mail with the subject line reading "Asst 2 Chem 11" and send it to [email protected].
