Cardcaptor Sakura Volume 8 Act 4
Sakura: Do you think this will be enough?
Kero: How long to I have to stir this thing~
Tomoyo: Both of you can stop now. <Kero faints out> <Sakura; Kero!> Then let's pour this to the molder.  Have you decided on which shapes to use?
Sakura: This is for my friends. And this is for Yukito-san. <holds up star and heart chocolate molds>
Tomoyo: Because it's Valentine Day's chocolate.
Sakura: I finished!
To Yukito-san. From Sakura.
I wonder if he'll accept it for me? I hope he'll be happy to receive it.
Kero: Lucky, lucky. Yukito's so lucky, gettin' a chocolate and everything. (And what about me who helped out with all his might..)
Sakura: I"ve made one for Kero-chan, too.
Kero: Wa-i! Wa-i! (Sakura: Kero really loves to eat.) (Tomoyo: Really.)
Kero: This is for me?
Sakrau; Yeah.
Kero: ALL OF 'EM? *shine, shine*
Sakura: N, no.  There are also ones for Oniichan and Otoosan. (Because I give one to them every year.) <Kero's a little disappointed>
Kero: Oh well, at least I get one!
Sakura: Thank you for helping me out.
Tomoyo: (Huh?) These are for Oniisan and your father and Kero-chan, right?
Sakura: Yup.
Tomoyo: There are four of them....
Sakura; Yeah, so there should be four..... hoe? 1. Oniichan. 2. Otoosan. 3. Kero-chan. Three...is sufficient. Why, why did I make four?  Oniichan, you're leaving already?
Touya: Part-time job. (Sakura: Then..I' ll give it to you now.) Huh?
Sakura: Today's Valentine's Day. (Oniichan will get a lot from other people too, but.)
Touya: I won't die, will I? (Even if I eat it)
Sakura: I've definately tasted it yetsterday.
Touya: Thank you.
Sakura: Um, you know. I have one for Yukito-san, too, so please tell him to stop by our house on his way home.  Please.  <Touya waves his hand to reassure her, Sakura sighs with relief> Have you slept well!
Fujitaka: Did you sleep well?
Sakura: Oniichan's always doing part-time jobs. (Even though he bought the motorcycle.)
Fujitaka: He says he wants to earn his college tuition fee himself.
Sakura: ...so that was why. Oh yeah! This.  Because today's Valentine's Day.
Fujitaka: Thank you this year, too.  Who are you going to give the haert-shaped chocolate to?
Sakura; Hoe?! (Ho, how did he know there  was a heart shaped one, too?) (Fujitaka: You used a heart shaped cookie.) (Sakura: Oh, that's right...) I hope he'll be happy.
Sakura: ...yes.
<She enters her classroom>
Sakura: Good morning!
Girls: Hi, Sakura!
Sakura: Everyone looks happy.
Rika: Today's Valentine's day, after all.
Sakura; Hi, Shaoran-kun!
Shaoran: H, hi.
Takashi: Did you know? Thing called chocolate.  They thought it was something really dangerous in the olden times taht they thought something horrible will happen if children ate it.  There used to be medicine that made you happy in old chocolates, so if you had one, your feelings will be so up in the air that it wasn't even funny. (Chiharu: You babble uselss things again...) Right? Eriol also knows about this, right?  (Eriol: Hi)
Chiharu: (Eriol's serious, unlike you, Takashi, so) Hey, even if you talk to Eriol..
Eriol: You know very well.
Sakura: REALLY?!
Eriol: It was a rule in ancient Europe that people under 20 may not consume any chocolate.
Takashi: Anyone who broke that rule was punished severely.
Eriol: Right. In Europen history books, there are many detailed accounts of events during the era where chocolate was forbidden.
Takashi: It is known that  things like white chocolate were especially more severly punished.
Eriol: Same with almond chocolate.
<Eriol and Takashi tightly hold hands....>
Takashi: I think I"ll get along with Eriol very well. *sparkle, sparkle*
Eriol: Same here. (Naoko: Eriol was the type that got along well with Takashi.)
Sakura: Thank...goodness we were born in modern era....
Shaoran: Ye..yeah....
Just think, chocolate is forbidden from being eaten. (Sakura: But I wonder why white chocolate sin was more heavy?) (Shaoran: Well?) (Tomoyo: Hohohoho...)
Nakuru: Touya--! <Jumped off from 2nd floor> Here! Valentine Day's chocolate!
Touya: Why are you giving it to me?
Nakuru: Because I like Touya!
Touya: ...hey.
Nakuru: And I'll take something that's precious to Touya, so I'll have to thank him for it. <He moves his lips towards Touya's...> <Touya grabs her by her waste and puts her down>
Touya: I"ll decide whom to give mine to. And.... I....already have someone that I like.
Nakuru: 100%! (His face is cool, too!) Argh! Touya's too cool! (Even though Eriol's hand-made chocolate became useless) ...but if the one whom you're attempting to give it to does not realize anything, you won't be able to give it to him, either.
Tomoyo: Did you present the chocolate?
Sakura: No! Not yet! But I asked Oniichan to tell him to stop by our home on his way. (Oniichan's school ends early, so I have to hurry home.) (Tomoyo: Then I"ll give it to you right now.)
Tomoyo: This is Valentine Day's chocolate.
Sakura: (Wow--) Thank you! Then I'll go on ahead! (Tomoyo: Take care.)
Shaoran: Ah, um..!
Sakura: What is it?
Shaoran: ....I, I"ll see you tomorrow!
Sakura: Then I'll see you tomorrow!
Tomoyo: It's all right even if you don't give it to her?
Shaoran: Wh, what.
Tomoyo: Chocolate that you'll give to Sakura. (Li-kun's good at cooking, and he's good at detailed things so he probably made it himself.)  <Exactly!>
Shaoran: Sakura looks busy, so it's all right...
Tomoyo: Li-kun's really kind.
Shaoran: I, I"m not that kind.. A, and there is something  I must research on, too!  (Tomoyo: Hohoho)
Tomoyo: Did something happened?
Shaoran: ..the owner of the coat.
Eriol: I've returned.
Suppi: Welcome back, Eriol.  ...you're under a spell.
Eriol: You're sharp after all, Spinel.
Suppi: Oriental Magic...it's a Chinese spell. ...it failed.
Eriol: Because I"m always on guard.
Suppi: Who did this?
Eriol: Our cute little descendant child.  I think he's looking for the owner of the coat that covered Sakura last time.
Suppi: That is some never, putting a spell on Clow Reed. ...you look amused, Eriol.
Eriol: I'm amused.  Very much.  ...It'll get a lot more interesting from now on.
Sakura: I"ve returned! Yukito-san's here!
Yukito: Welcome back, Sakura!
Sakura: I..I"ve returned.
Yukito: Touya said you something to tell me, so.
Sakura: Ah....um. This is chocolate.
Yukito: Wow-- thank you!
Touya: Even though you can't foretell what may happen as a monster had made it.
Sakura: WHATCHA SAY?
Yukito: (That's not so.) It's really sweet.
<Sakura's heart marks bounce off Touya's face, as he stares at Sakura staring at Yukito gobbling the chocolate up.)
Fujitaka: It's a relief that he liked the chocolate.
Sakura: Yes.
But why did I make 4?
Sakura: Um, did father receive chocolate from mother?
Fujitaka: I recieved a hand-made one every year.
Sakura: But mother can't cook.
Fujitaka: Yes. But she gave lots of love to it when she made it.  Mine and Touya's and Sonomi's and... even one for her grandfather, whom she loved very much. Starting from the year that she got mariried, until she died.
Sakura: Grandfather....
Fujitaka: Yes.  She tried her best at makingit every year and gave it to her grandfather.
Sakuar: What's that grandfather doing now?
Fujitaka: He's healthy.  Even though I met him only once...
Sakura: Why?
Fujitaka: ....like Sonomi, grandfather really greatly regarded Nadeshkio preciously.  I'm a bad jerk who stole that precious Nadeshiko away, so...
Sakura: I can't remember anything about mother, but it's not father's fault! And in the pictures, mother always looks happy.  And if mother and father did not exist, I wouldn't have been even born! And I'm so happy!
Fujitaka: ...thank you.
Mother's grandfather.  Does he still think father is a bad person.  Father is such a great person.  He's not a bad person like that.
Sakura: Oh! Can't I give this chocolate to mother's grandfather? ...will what I make be useless after all...
Fujitaka: No. I'm sure he'll be really pleased.
Sakura: Ah! But if I send it to him right now, it'll be past the date.
Fujitaka: It's all right.
Sakura: Really?!
Fujitaka: I have a deliverer who'll surely deliver it.
Sakura: Um! How did mother always present it to him?
Fujitaka: Chocolate and letter....and she sent some nadeshikos along with them.
Sakura: Flower?! (9:04 PM) But flower shops already closed..... right! Please hold on! <She slams the door open, Kero gets his face hitten>
Kero: Whatcha doin'~
Sakrua: Sorry! Release! Present me with the flower my mother loved. Bloom, "Flower"!
Kero: Why are ya botherin' to call out flower usin' magic?
Sakura: He'll understand if I send him these flowers along with letter and chocolate.
That mother and father and brother and I are happy.
Sonomi: To call me out, you have some nerve.
Fujiaka: I thought if it was Sonomi, she'll deliver it on time.  To Sakura's great-grandfather.
Sonomi: ...Valentine's Day chocolate.  Nadeshiko had presented them every year.  A chocolate that you can not even flatter by saying it's half good, and a letter that tells him how happy she is since she married the teacher, and... nadeshiko... Because Sakura had worked hard to make it... it'll be delivered within today. (This is  doing you a favor.)
Fujitaka: Thank you.
Sakuar: Right! You can ask Tomoyo's mom to deliver it!
Kero: Tomoyo's mother is Sakura's mother's cousin, right. But-- The reson why Sakura made 4 chocolate was because she was being clutzy. (Or did see foresee even these things because her magic got so much stronger.) Pwahahaha... (Sakura: When was I being clutzy!)
Sakura: ....I hope grandfather will be happy.  Don't you agree...mother.
