| Dennis and Carol Waite have been the owners of Little Bit of Texas Dance Productions for over 15 years. They have been the Event Directors of the Chicagoland Dance Festival, Cowboy Country Dance Challenge, the LBOT Country Dance Fest and The Canadian Country Classic. Additionally, Dennis served as the Vice President of Rules for the UCWDC, and Carol is currently the Office Manager. Prior to their career as event directors Dennis and Carol competed on the Country Western Dance circuit. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Steve Howorka has been competing on the UCWC circuit since 1994 where he started at Cowboy Country Dance Challenge, in Line Dance. Steve has competed around the USA and Canada in couples dancing since 1995. He is one of three people to compete in two different cities on the same weekend in UCWDC events. Steve started working for Dennis and Carol in 1996 and has been their facility coordinator since 1997. Additionally, Steve has been on staff for several events including the Las Vegas Country Western Dance Finale and four Worlds events, being the Line Dance Ballroom Coordinator for the 1999 Worlds in San Antonio. While Steve has taught as a substitute and teachers assistant at several dance events and workshops, in January 2002, he began teaching at three studios in Las Vegas. In September 2002 Steve became Co-Event Director of the Canadian Country Classic and added the Canadian Swing Dance Classic. | |||||||||||||||||||
