Poetry Corner
I thought the site might need a bit of cultural interest and I found this poem the other day and quite liked it so I didnt think it would do any harm on here..
Sweet Dreams
You ask me what I see in you?

I reach into your heart and pull out a lemon.
Sour and bitter and first taste,
Leaves a sting in my mouth,
But adds flavour to tasteless days,
You make me smile, you make me laugh.

You ask me what I see in you?

I reach into your heart and pick out a strawberry.
A gorgeous, rosy red coat covers,
The soft and juicy flesh beneath,
My heart will not ignore your act,
Full of sweetness, full of life.

I ask you what you see in me.

Then, I wake up with onion tears.
