| Rei is the very quiet and shy pilot of the prototype Eva Unit 00. She finds it hard to make freinds and doesnt show her emotions very much. As a result of this she is hated by Asuka who calls her a 'wind up doll'. Shinji takes an interest in her because she seems to have a good relationship with his father Gendo Ikari which Shinji doesnt have. Commander Ikari once saved her from an accident which occured whilst trying to syncronise with her Eva when it mysteriously went out of control. | ||||||||||||||
| She lives on her own as she has no parents. All records about her life and her past have been erased. She also seems to get into many situations which should result in her death but doesnt.....wait a minute, there's something fishy going on there hmmm? | ||||||||||||||
