Jorge Luis Borges was also a wonderful person with many ideas and a wonderful personality and spirit who impacted whoever he spoke to. Many loved and cared for him and were very impressed and influenced by his ways. Not to mention his students. Borges left a great impression on the students who he taught at Harvard. They were changed completely after taking his class and they are surely better people now.
This may not seem like much but a ergular person can influence maybe one person in this world if they are lucky. Borges on the other hand has managed to influnce millions. All Spanish speakers and many who are not consider him to be one of the foremost writers of the world and enjoy reading his work considerably mroe than they enjoy other writers.
Jorge Luis Borges was a writer who left his mark in this world as much more than that. He left his mark as a person and as a scholar. He has reached the inmortality that many desire. Because as long as his books are read and he is in the mind of so many he will never die. Borges will live on as the great intelligent man that he was when he was alive.
