A bunch of clay chickens, trying to escape a clay chicken farm, to get to a clay paradise, all made into
a movie, and how does it come out? As a lighthearted and funny film actually.
Chicken Run is a joy to watch as Nick Park delivers another wonderful story and movie. As with Wallace
and Gromit, Park's other work, Chicken Run is very entertaining and I found it to be a movie where
children of all ages can go and watch.
When watching Chicken Run you can't help but be delighted with the animation of each and every character,
and the different personalities each charater has.
Okay, lets get down to the Good and the Bad.
The Good:
- Chicken Run is fun, and it is one of the more entertaining movies to be out right now.
- The animation is fantastic, you won't be able to stop from thinking about how much work went into this movie.
- Humor, drama, romance, horror....this movie has it all.
The Bad:
-Not many children will get much of the humor.
-Some slow moments in the film.
-May not be everyones cup of tea.
-You may be torn between feeling sorry for Mr. Tweedy, or hating him.
When going into see this movie do not forget what type of film it is. Older children and teens may be put off by the fact that
the movie's target audience is not even in middle school yet. I am in college, and I loved it.
Chicken Run is a very simple film, if you are looking for a movie with a different look, then I strongly
suggest that you go see it, you may not look at chicken the same way.
