Boy and Girls

R: PG-13

Starring: Freddie Prinze Jr., Jason Biggs

I have to say, I didn't have high expectations going in to the theater to watch this, but I found that
to be a good thing. "Boys and Girls" is another film about young friendship, love, and life. Unfortunately
this is not a new story, nor is it told in an innovative way that would set it apart from the rest.
The story starts off with, surprisingly, with a boy(Freddie Prinze Jr.) and a girl( ), who, during their lives,
consistantly run into each other. From young 12 year olds, to high school, and finally college, where two become firm friends.
There seemed to be very little to no comedy in the entire film, and the film was too slow for any attempt
to make people laugh. Again, first hand experience told me of what the rest of the theater thought of the
film. There wasen't enough comedy to make people laugh, the drama has been done, and better in other
films, and any key moments in it were not enough even to distract the audience from the sticky stuff under their seats.
