| David Hamrick of Bear Valley School of Denver, Colo. helping new convert (our first on Jan.2001 trip) carry her OWN baptism water!!! Her name is Monica Godfrey and a very special young girl. In another pic you see her and her brothers (Jacob & Msafiri) with mom (Anna). Jacob studied with Boaz & I and came to Arusha church building to be baptized. The outdoor baptistry was empty for cleaning. They only have a faucet in the front of the building, so we all carried water to baptistry to fill it. While this was all going on, the other brother (Msafiri) showed up. He had attended services with their mother (Anna) who had obeyed the gospel a month earlier. So David & Boaz studied with Msafiri while baptistry was being filled. He said he also wanted to go to Heaven and was baptized also! 3 at a time and they carried their own water!! David marveled and said "The first person I studied with in Tanzania immediately obeyed the truth and was baptized!" This place reminds all of us, of the book of Acts!! This whole family are now in Christ except the father. On another conversion two young women (Pauline & Susan) came at night to be baptized. Well guess what? The baptistry was empty again! Only this time the water faucet would not work! What can we do? Boaz mentioned that in front of the church building there was a pool of dirty water and he only needed enough to put them under! About a foot or so. So we carried muddy water & filled the baptistry! Yes these two were happy to wash their sins away even in muddy water!! AMAZING TANZANIA! You readers need to get on board and contribute to my mission or the Tanzanian 2000 fund. We have hundreds of honest hearts there in Africa that want to go to Heaven! Let us help send them the truth!
