Right, we've had this experience in Zambia and in USA; you're not allowed to keep large tracts of forest land only for the sake of preserving clean cool water and air and even wildlife habitat unless it can be shown that hunting brings in plenty of revenues. But if you can relate the forest management to business and trade partners and the market, you are safe in today's climate. Don't try to sneak in too many long-term notions though. - Jill |
