Today was Elijah's first birthday and he was able to celebrate in Heaven! We started the day getting some flowers for his grave, and Lizzie and Dylan chose some balloons to "send to Elijah". It was a sad time, but we also were able to just take a minute out of our lives to just think of Elijah only. We think of Elijah all of the time, but this was special to focus on only him for a while. Then we took off to the city, and Cameron and I surprised the kids with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. They were so excited, and they even got their own balloons there. We just had a great time together relaxing and not having to think about anything else. It was such a blessing!
On another note, Elijah is going to be a big brother in about 10 weeks! We are happy to say that all tests have come back normal this time, and even though we didn't have an amnio, we don't feel it was necessary. What a joy it will be to have a baby in the house again! Elijah reminded us of that joy, and we look forward to having another baby in our home very soon!
