    SEMINOLE, Ok - Leroy "Rusty" Davis (Seq. Class of 1960) , 68, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Services and burial were Sept. 10th at Tallahassee Presbyterian Church & Cemetery, Seminole, Ok.

    TAHLEQUAH, Ok - George Edward Duvall (Seq. Soph. in 1962), 65, passed away Sunday July 27, 2009. Services were July 31st in the Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel; burial followed in the Ft.Gibson National Cemetery.

    LEXINGTON, Ok - Sequoyah Class of 1962 alumnus and former Seq. Alum. Assoc. president, Elliot Willis Pulliam (Seq. Class of 1962) , 64, passed away in Lexington, Ok. on Wed. July 15, 2009. Services and burial were in Lawrence Ks. July 23rd.

    MUSKOGEE, Ok - Funeral services for Connie Isham (Seq. Soph. in 1962), 64, were June 24, 2009 in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel, Stilwell, Okla.; Brother Sam England officiated. Interment followed in Reese Cemetery, Peavine, Okla.

    GROVE, Ok - May Mahseet Chubbee  (Seq. Emp. 1940s), 99, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Grand Lake Villa Nursing Home. May was very instrumental in founding the Alumni Association of Sequoyah Vocational School.

    ARDMORE, Ok - Emery Moses Roberts , (Seq. Class of 1963) 66, passed away Friday April 24, 2009 in Dallas, Tx. Services were held in Ardmore, Okla. on Wed. Apr. 29th. with the Rev. Osborne Roberts officiating. Interment followed in McAllister Cemetery.

    MUSKOGEE, Ok - Jim Thompson  (Son of Tommie Thompson, Seq. Boys Advisor 1950s), 74, physical education teacher, died Friday Mar. 6, 2009. Services were Tuesday in the Bradley Funeral Service Chapel, Ft. Gibson.

    TAHLEQUAH, Ok - Anna Faye Glory Rooster , (Seq. Class of 1937) 88, passed from this life on Feb. 14, 2009. Services were held Wed. Feb. 18, 2009 in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Tahlequah City Cemetery.

    TAHLEQUAH, Ok - Graveside services for Bill W. James , (Seq. Dorm Attnd. 1970s) 74, were held Thur. Feb. 5th in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Okla. Bill passed away on Mon. Feb. 2, 2009 after a long illness.

    SPERRY, Ok - Funeral services for Olvie Washington , (Seq. Class of 1967) 63, of Sperry, Okla. were held Tuesday January 20, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel, in Sperry, OK. Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry.

    Cecil "Nip" Shipp , Sequoyah Class of 1954, former teacher, principal, acting superintendent of Sequoyah High School was inducted into the NSU Sports Hall of Fame.
