Cold War Poster

This 1950 Soviet propaganda poster depicted the American way of life as seen through United States crime statistics. The poster shows that "every twenty-one seconds in the U.S., a serious crime takes place", that "every three minutes, a car is stolen", and "in New York City, 13,000 people disappear every day." Both nations smeared each other through such propaganda and misinformation.
