It is with great sadness that I must announce the Death of The Chrysler corporation on November 19, 1998. Cause death was determined to be a merger with Daimler-Benz of Germany. The new company will be called Daimler-Chrysler and will be incorporated in Germany making Chrysler not only a German owned company but also no longer a U.S. automaker. The big 3 has now become the big 2, and so with great sorrow we now lay the Chrysler Corporation to rest at age 73.
