Dog must always be under owners control, except while hunting.

* Shelter means a doghouse in good repair, with bedding material, a covering over the entrance, and shade.  Animals should have fresh water daily, especially in winter as snow is NOT sufficient.

Animal Control Officer, Julie Whitley, has years of experience in the animal care Field. 

Three years with the prosecuter's office.  Along with two years as an emergency dispatcher. Has been a part of the sheriff's department for 21 years.  She has almost 9 years in the animal control profession.

She is a one person department and is in charge of all animal control duties for Charlevoix County.

She has 2 children and has been married to the same man for 23 years.
She has one rottweiler named Montana and three cats named Pumpkin, Zor, and Zam.
