WHAT: Rabies Vaccinations Medical Treatment License any dog 4mths of age or older. Dog must wear tags at all time. Fees for License Control of Dog Food, Water, Shelter* Report all bites. Report lost or stray animals. Report any animal complaints, problems, or questions. |
WHERE: Veterinarian Veterinarian County Treasurer County Treasurer Properly confined or on a leash. Tether must be atleast 3 lengths of the dog, and attached to a harness or non- choke collar. Whether inside or outside Charlevoix County Animal Control 231-582-6667 |

Animal Control Officer, Julie Whitley, has years of experience in the animal care Field. Three years with the prosecuter's office. Along with two years as an emergency dispatcher. Has been a part of the sheriff's department for 21 years. She has almost 9 years in the animal control profession. She is a one person department and is in charge of all animal control duties for Charlevoix County. She has 2 children and has been married to the same man for 23 years. She has one rottweiler named Montana and three cats named Pumpkin, Zor, and Zam. |
