The Calhoun County High School Glee Club is organized under the sponsorship of Miss Geneva Harris, music teacher. The club meets every Thursday evening in the high school auditorium. The highlights of the Glee Club calendar are the Commencement and Baccalaureate services in the spring in which they take a prominent part.
 

The "Tophatters" dance orchestra is a group of people from the high school band. They are not widely known in circles outside Calhoun county but it is an up-and-coming organization and we will hear more from them later.

Members of the dance band are: Saxaphones, Mary Hathaway, S. Byrl Ross, Hoyt Umstead, and Walter Smith; Trumpets, Williams Burns, and Bill Stump; Trombones; Lowell Weaver, and Vance Haymaker; Piano, Mary Lea Burns; Drums, James Law; Bass, Harold Hamilton.
