There Were engraved plates made of brass which were found on this continent , close to the canadian border in the middle of the 1800 's by a man called Joseph Smith. He said he was spiritualy guided to the place where they were barried. He was able to translate the engraveings into the english. They contain a written history of a man named Lehi handed down through all of his ancestors. One of which is Abraham of the old Hebrew Torra another is Jacob and Joseph. The Torra is the Hebrews ancestors journal past down from generation to generation and is known to most christians as the first old Testiment of the bible. Facts contained on the brass plates all coincided with the written history found in the Torra books . For a Brief rundown on some facts, the records talk of the great spirit warning Lehi and his family that Jeruselum would be perged with distruction becouse of the wickedness and to leave. So they biult a ship and sailed to this contenent over 2,300 years ago. They multiplied and are the desendants of the Native Americans (all the indiginouse people of the American continent also.)Early on the original Group Divided into two. The one group who followed thier family's teachings of the creator and lived acording to the way's tought keeped the plates, the other group was not interested in maintaining the self desiplining teachings. Joseph smith was shot to death by christians who did not believe that the books were more journals of the House of Isreal. The thing is, the writings offer a lot of spiritual giudance and many people who read the records and truley wonderd of thier authenticity have a testimoney that they have been shown spiritualy that they are authentic and the truth including myself. And that those records are guidance from the great spirit we know as God.
