Robyn Reeves Lana, CCC’s Founder/Managing Artistic Director and Conductor of
Bel Canto and Girl Choirs, earned both Bachelor and
Master degrees in Music Education from the
Mrs. Lana began her training with children’s choirs under Dr. Karen Wolff, Founder of the CCM Children’s Choir, in 1983 and
continued her work in the program through 1993. An experienced general music
specialist in public and private schools, she has also worked in churches with
musicians of all ages and has taught voice privately.
Mrs. Lana has prepared choirs for performance with the Cincinnati
Symphony, the Cincinnati Pops, the Vocal Arts Ensemble, international festivals
and CCM choirs and orchestras.
In addition to preparing the choir for two compact disc releases, Mrs.
Lana has prepared them for a recording session with the Cincinnati Pops
Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Erich Kunzel
for the Telarc label.
Mrs. Lana is a sought after children’s choir clinician/conductor and has
presented techniques for educating and performing chamber music for young
children at the Chamber Music America National Convention. Presently, she devotes her professional
life to the growth, development, and artistry of CCC and is Educational
Coordinator/Hostess for the Linton Chamber Music Series’ Peanut Butter and Jam
Sessions, a Post Corbett Award winning classical music concert series for
preschool age children.
Mrs. Lana is published in The Chorister, the publication for the
Choristers Guild, and is a member of ACDA, Chorus
Laura Holland, Associate Director of
CCC and Conductor of the Preparatory and Lyric Choirs,
is a native of
Mrs. Holland has served as a
general music specialist and choir director, grades 1 – 8 and has had the
pleasure of preparing school groups for performances at Music Hall with the
Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, for the swearing-in ceremony of Joe Deters as
State Treasurer and for a benefit to protect the endangered cheetahs in
conjunction with the Broadway Series and the Cincinnati Zoo. Mrs. Holland received training in Orff-Schulwerk at the
Mrs. Holland is a certified Kindermusik
instructor and teaches music classes for children age 18 months to five
years. She is a private voice and
piano teacher and performs professionally in churches throughout the Tristate. She
has recorded two compact discs of sacred music, the latest released in
2000. Mrs. Holland is a member of
AOSA and ACDA.
Kathleen Maguire, Assistant Director
and Conductor of Jubilate Choir, earned her Orff-Schulwerk Level 1 certification from Rene
Boyer-Alexander at the
Miss Maguire earned CCM’s John Leman Award in
2003 in recognition of choral excellence.
She is an educator and vocalist.
Her student teaching experience has been with David

women, and OMEA where she is serving as President of the CCM Chapter,
