Our children have taught us ... how much God cares for us, forgives us and is probably discouraged with us when we repeatedly make the same mistakes.  They have also forced us to learn that as hard as we try to be fair and consistent with how we treat them, that they are all unique guys with their own personality, strengths and weaknesses. They will have different struggles, and need different things from us. Ultimately, God is the only one who can change them, because true change comes from within.

I want to add that this was a challenging exercise, but a good one  that I would encourage each of you to try. I hope I have been of some encouragement to someone! Keep praying, the only right reason to homeschool is because  it is what you think God is calling you to do.
