My best household cleaning or organizational tip is ... to try to stay on top of it every day.  Always run at least one load of laundry daily so it does not turn into a whole day affair.

I regain my perspective and sense of humor by ... taking time for myself every morning.  I like an hour and a half walk-run with the dog, fresh air, and my thoughts.

Running the homeschool goes better when I remember to ...
pay attention to my children's moods.  If someone is in a negative mood the first thing we do is address it and remind each other how important working together is.

The spiritual exercise or devotion that is most helpful to me is ...
Kiss the babies when they wake up, to catch their sleepy smells.  This reminds me of all the reasons we homeshool.

The best advice my parents gave me is ...
Remember no matter how hard you think a task is you only prolong it by complaining.

When I am having a bad day ... I ask the kids if we can do lessons outside (even on cold winter days).  There is always a fresh air lesson to be learned.  Even an hour will usually brighten my spirit.  However, if that is not possible I usually find a documentary video and we will spend time having the narrator teach.  Usually a long discussion will follow any documentary worth its weight.

When I am about to loose my temper ... I find an excuse to walk away.  Having to hang a laundry load outside is a good one.

Our children have taught us ... how important a family is.  How much love truly conquers all.
