Are homeschooled kids accepted into colleges?
Here you can be very thankful for those who have already broken the ice. Most colleges will already have dwelt with the admissions process for homeschoolers. Rob had no problems in applying. In fact, I sent his grades in to PSU instead of getting an official transcript from PA Homeschoolers. It was fine. (PSU asked that the packet be compiled and sent in by a school counselor.) Some schools are even recruiting homeschoolers.

What are some difficulties in homeschooling?
It is always harder to swim against the tide. Many will never understand that this is a ministry given to us by God. We will be misunderstood. The middle school years can be tricky. It's not uncommon for children to express loneliness. Guess what? Most students in the public school say the same thing. So what is this common problem? It is a spiritual need. It can be a very sensitive time for drawing close to God. What a great time to homeschool. Help them plug in to a situation of high interest. Pray -HARD!- for true friends. He who walks with wise men becomes wise.
