Mr. President
On November 11th, 2008, Barack Obama was elected President of the United States of America. Just 50 years ago, a Black man wasn't able to vote in the country. Now 50 years later, a Black man is Commander-in-Chief. I am very proud of President Elect Obama, he fought long and hard to win this election. This was the first election I voted in and I know voted correctly. "Because of what we did today, on this date, at this time, Change has come to America" said Obama yesterday during his victory speech. The road ahead is going to be long and hard, but I have faith that Obama will lead us to what he promises.
People should look at Barack Obama's life and see how it is to come from nothing to become something. He fought long through life with losing his parents, and the day before the election losing his grandmother that practically raised him. This is a big win for America being that its been 8 years of bullsh*t with President Bush. Change is deffinatly going to come for America, one step at a time. Congrats Obama.
