Camp Hialeah Army Post
Dining Hall
Bowling Center
Located right next to our dormitory is the Army Dining Facility.  Meals are served three times a day and the cost is quite reasonable for an all you can eat fare.  I have never eaten there but I hear that some of the meals are quite good, breakfast being the best.  The Army and the Katusa Soldiers (Korean Augmentees to the United States Army) all eat there as they are not authorized separate rations like we are.  I do all my cooking in the dormitory kitchen.
And what base or post would not be complete without a chapel.  We have a base chaplain that ministers to many things, worship being one of them.  The chapel offers services in different religious denominations and in Korean for the Katusa Soldiers and the locals that attend.  Weddings are also performed here.

Another good place to eat is here at the Bowling Center.  My favorite is the bowling burger... a grilled burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion and served with a side of fries (or onion rings upon request).  They also have beer, wine coolers and sodas.  There is a six lane setup with the automatic score keeper.  It's a nice place to meet up with friends.
Recreation Center
Street view between the Rec Center and Gym
Take a right just past the mock up of the bowling pins of the bowling center and you will arrive at the base gym.  This place offers a full size basketball court where the high school games are played, two racquetball courts (where Tae Kwon Do is taught) and a full size gym complete with treadmills, stair steppers, free weights and Nautilus equipment.  There is also a separate men and women's sauna.

Walking out the side door of the gym will take you to the Recreation Center.  An internet cafe and all of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities are held here, most of which are trips around the Korean Peninsula.  Cable Television is also arranged in this building.
Continue a straight walk past the Bowling Center and you will encounter this building housing the dental facility.  Though it offers limited hours, the service is complete, compliments of Army Dental staff.  The truck seen here is one of several seen around post.
