Welcome to the Colorado Pages!!

I arrived in Colorado on September 4, 2001 and since then have done a little traveling around both the city and the state.  I hope to share some of my travels with you and show you what a beautiful place Colorado is.

Denver, as you all know is the capitol of Colorado.  Nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains along the front range, the city is also known as The Mile High City due to it's elevation of 5280 feet above sea level.
Downtown Denver
There are many things to do and places to see in Denver, some of which are the Botanic Gardens, Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.  Check out many other activities and information available at the official City and County of Denver home page.  There is a wealth of information and links to explore.

Finally, you can't forget that Denver is home to many major sports teams such as
Nuggets Basketball, Broncos Football, Colorado Rockies Baseball and The Colorado Rapids, a Major League Soccer franchise created in 1996.  Of course I would be extremely remiss if I did not make mention of my most favorite sport of all... hockey with The Colorado Avalanche.  Go Avs!!!

So without further delay let's explore Colorado!
