Improvement in music technology has facilitated

faster, more democratic and more convenient

  music production than ever before,

and yet people still seem to worship

old, expensive equipment

and spend way too long labouring on an album.

CAVALIEROSITYRECORDS celebrates

the artist that overcomes these issues and

harvests the fruit as it ripens on the bough,

either deliberately or inadvertently generating

affective cultural artefacts

through a combination of

quick thinking and a playful lightness of touch

pursuing radical enjoyment over formal experimentation,

choosing pragmatism and productivity

over time-wasting obsessions with

fidelity and elitist formalism

of stockpiling consumer goods

  and obsessing over genres
