The Helsinki Slave Sustenance Problem

FUCK SHADOWCLAN! RIVERCLAN FTW! ^_^

three slaves and one overseer are going to the Finnish line in Helsinki. one slave runs away. two slaves are still around. the overseer treks to his cabin in the outskirts Helsinki equipped with 4 means. he must give each slave three fifths of a meal to each slave that is still around. the overseer eats 1 whole meal. the runaway is back. he was captured. the runaway returns after the meals have been served. the owner ate 1 whole meal. the slave that ran away is to be punished by the overseer. its decided that the punishment is to give the slave only two fifths of a meal since the slave didn't resist capture. how many meals are left over for the overseer to do as he pleases?

Solution by Math Guru Captain Penguin

3/5 + 3/5 + 2/5 + 1 = 2.6

4 - 2.6 = 1.4

1.4, 7/5, or 1 and 2/5ths meals are left for the overseer to do with as he pleases.
