More about the tattoo later...
Ok it is later and Catie is asleep. Well today was my anniversary present day. This is my new tattoo. I've wanted another for some time now and Catie used that knowledge. I'll admit she got me this year. I would have never guessed. I'm very happy with the outcome. We met the tattooist (artist) yesterday. I showed him two pictures to give a good idea of what I wanted. Jesse from Falcon Tattoos then added some detail and color changes to make the ink my own. Most was drawn freehand prior to making the stencil. At first it looked like a bunch of blue lines. After the initial outline was done you could begin to tell a difference. We/he stopped a couple times for a break. The first break was outline only. Then the second break was after the dragon was drawn and shaded. The dragon itself looked awesome. The last part was the background and detailing. The way he finished it up allowed for me to leave it as is or continue later around the back/chest or completely cover the arm. Once he finished I got up to look. Damn, the mixture of colored background enhanced the dragon. After 2 1/2 hrs and 5 colors my half sleeve was complete. I was impressed with the whole place. I'll go back again. Thank you Beautiful! I love the tattoo. I still need to get my mother and grandmother to get one.
Catie has a good idea for her a new tattoo also. I think after we both get 4 or 5 more we will be done.
