Wow!  I finally got to watch Brokeback Mountian, AKA, the gay cowboy movie.  I was really curious to see what all the controversy was.   I will warn every one who may read this, if you are a homophobe, this definitly is not the movie for you.  Me, I just love a good love story!  If you havnt seen it yet, and plan on it, DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER!!!  If you have seen it, read on for my gripes about the movie...     Can you believe the way that they killed off the pretty faced guy (who reminds me of Bill)?  I am still so P.O.'d over this!  He was there for the meeting, the next time they tried to get together, the guy got his postcard returned with "DECEASED" on it!  I was so MAD!  Why couldnt they have at least let the guy have his last moments with him, or better yet, why couldnt they live happily ever after on his parents farm?  I would like to see a remake with a happy ending.  I sniffled for an hour over the stupid movie!  Oh yea, can you believe I actually watched this with my husband?  It was really funny too.  We both were kinda expecting this really soft "love scene" between the two of them.  Well, lets just say that cowboys ride rough!   Oh yea, Bill says the movie was "ok".  I really liked the movie.  It is something you dont see every day.  You see tons of movies with 2 girls/women in love, kissing or etc.  I have never seen a movie that actually puts a "tender" type touch to a male relationship.  Most of the time, gay men are betrayed as either flaming cross dressers, perverts, chap wearing freaks, or transexuals.  I am not saying that there are not gay men (and straight men too) out there like that, I am just saying its nice to see "normal" type men in a roll like this.

Unfortunatley, tomorrow is Bill and I's last day alone...the kids come back SUNDAY.  Its been nice, but all good things must come to an end.    Must go for now...
