This may be my new arm band tattoo...
Since I was about 8 years old, I kept a diary/journal of my life. Of course I dont have them now (they would have been great for the kids to read as they get older). I wrote down every detail I could onto paper, and hid it away. I hate to say it, but the teacher that turned me on to writing really new what she was doing. I think I am going to have Raven start doing stuff like that. Maybe a notebook that she and I can exchange. I know it sounds crazy, but I think it may help with communication as she gets a little older, and peer pressure continues to mount. Since I have been able to use a computer and the internet, I have stopped writing on paper. I have been using my computer's hard drive to store some of my writings, and now I have decided to just put them online to a web site.
One thing I have only done a few times is rant and rave about life events, pet peeves and etc. That was the whole point of my journal growing up. It was a much healthier way to express my anger and emotions then what my mother taught me. I think that I probably need to start writing about one thing every entry that really irks me. I dont think I have so far because I know anyone can read it. Its still kinda scary to put exactly what you think out there for the world to read. I am really lucky though. The people whom I care about the most, (family) pretty much already know my thoughts on things and will find it rather boring. Nothing I say will shock them or upset them. People who think they know me, may just be surprised.
