So after the game yesterday, we decided to call up and see if we could get a good buddy for Brandon to have with him for baseball.  Of course Raven would not be a good buddy because she and he would get distracted or start argueing over which video game character is the best, so we got the only other logical choice, CORA!!!  She is going to be going to practice with him, and helping him out at the games.  Yea, Brandon and her are destined to marry...  She actually has a great attitude and loves doing things like this (things that help others).  I will just about bet that this is the best year yet for Brandon's sports career.

Speaking of sports, if you have never went to a live hockey game, I highly recommend it.  I had watched them years ago, but hadnt thought much about them since moving to KY at the age of 12.  Our friends Kristine and Derrick turned us on to the local hockey team, the Columbus Cottonmouths, and 15 games later, I think we have been hooked.  The kids love it, although Raven mainly likes it because she gets to dance and have Dippin Dots.  Any way, our team will be playing the Huntsville Havoc on Tuesday night.  This is a must win game if they want to move on towards the championship.  Should be a great game.  They have a history of fighting with huntsville pretty good through the regular season, so the playoff's should amplify that even more.  Friday night they fought pretty good.  Havoc had some low blows and some pretty rotten moves, but it always makes for an interesting game.
