This is what the spare room looked like until today.  The construction crew finally got done with the adjustments to the bathroom!  I can finally get the Hoyer lift in and out of the shower!  I am very happy that they are done.  I also found out that we will be restationed in around 6 months to probably South Carolina or Virginia.  It ironic on all accounts.  We had to fight for around 8 months with housing, and then again with Clark-Pinnacle to get our house accessable for Brandon.  When we moved into our house, we started telling the folks at housing that we needed stuff done to it.  They come out and looked at the house around 8 times, but didnt do anything because C-P was taking over.   Clark-Pinnacle fought us tooth and nail on this, and finally caved when the garrison guy told them that it would count as part of there " 5% quota" that they are supposed to have for handicapped accessable housing.  Pardon me for getting on my soap box about these people but if you will read some of the finance papers you will learn that over the course of 10-15 years, Clark-Pinnacle is to make around 10 BILLION dollars on post housing alone.  The goverment turned all the housing needs of the troops in this area over to them, and also give them the already built houses to do with whatever they want (for the most part).  In addition to giving them the housing units, the goverment takes the soldiers BAq (or BAH-I forget what its called) (I'm guessing an average of around $1000 per soldier per month), and give that to C-P.   C-P is to invest money into new housing units,  and in the old units to make them more "livable" for the troops.  Sounds like a great deal, however, C-P did not want to start spending their money on improvements to the old units yet.  They wanted us to just sit back and live in the unit that we were in as it was. Instead of trying to come up with a solution to help, one of the women in the office admitted to me that she studied the ADA  for 2 weeks straight looking for a catch that would let them "not" make changes to our home.  Can you believe that?  This lady was paid by them try to find loop-holes in the ADA so that they wouldn't have to fix the house!  Just so everyone knows Clark-Pinnacle  is one of the most crooked organizations there is, which may be why they always end up making BILLIONS off the US Goverment.  I just pray that I get the chance to give these folks the same type of help in the E.R. that they give us in housing.  Cant you see it? 

Me: Sir, you say you are having chest pains, shortness of breath, blacking out, sweating, dizzy, turning blue?   MR. Clark_Pinnacle CEO/local Representative, just fill out this work order and turn it in and we will see if we are required to do anything for you.  You should hear from one of my coworkers in a day or two about your problem.  You know what, because you are such a great and generous person, have some Tylenol!  It should take care of your pain.   Oh yea, You are going to need to pay your bill up-front, let's see, 2-Tylenol@ $51 a piece = $102.   Ahhh..isnt that a fantasy come true.  If any of you C-P people manage to read this, take note, I am not kidding!  You did not take my needs or my families needs seriously, so why would I take yours seriously?

I wonder if as every generation gets older, they look at the goverment and think, "How is this country going to survive with all the crookedness we have in politics."  Some times I wonder how it is possible for a country as great as ours to survive when we have elected officials and crooked cooperations working together.  Its a scary thought!  I have always know the goverment was crooked, it always has been, always will be, yet I think this administation is the worst yet.  If this would have been Clinton or even Reagan, they would have been impeached years ago.  Our president and his flunkies are nothing but good-ole-boy-mafia-wanna-be's who dont care about anything except money, power and how it makes them look.  Just look at all the shocking stories that come out about them almost daily, and also get swept under the carpet almost daily too! 

Ok, I am done, I never argue politics or religion, so remember these are my opinions only.  Hey, lets do something completely different tomorrow.  How about we discuss how Bill's cocker spaniel Midnight looks like a cute little sissy dog?  hahaha--I am painting his nails pink tomorrow and putting bows on his ears...yea, Bill will kill me, but thats ok...definitly worth it.
