Today was a short day at work. I am quite happy that it was beacause I came home and had to take a 45 minute power nap. Last night, my 2 dogs, 1 fat cat, and snooring husband decided that they were going to fight for "bed supremicy". Unfortunately the end result is me being awakened 20 times, and finally moving onto the couch away from all of them. About the time I fell asleep, my darling husband came and woke me up to tell me my alarm had went off. I could have screamed!
We went out to our favorite Chinese restauraunt with the kids, Raven, Brandon, and Cora. The kids love the "artsy" style of the place, while we just love the food. Poor Brandon had such a busy day today, immediatly after he got his belly full, he started falling asleep on the table.
I have joined a cople of DMD groups on Yahoo. I am constantly trying to stay up-to-date with the latest treatments and tricks for DMD. One thing we have been doing is finding "gadgets" to make our life, and Brandons life easier. One really cool gadget is the "seat twister." It helps him turn in his seat with less effort. It is amazing at the things that are out there. I already have my wish list made up of things I want to get. Oh yea, if anyone has a pediatric stander just hanging around someplace not being used, by all means let me know! Those things are really useful, yet insurance companies will not pay for them. Oh yea, the band pictured above is the only arm band I have seen that is in support of DMD. I wear mine everyday.
Ok, I am heading off of here in hopes of getting into bed, and falling asleep before the dogs, the cat, and the noisy husband have a chance to get there. Good night to all.
