This is my favorite character from "CARS".   

Brandon continues to do really well.  He stayed up and about in his electric wheelchair yesterday.  I wanted to keep his legs up so I put him in a manual chair that he can manipulate around.  He is not happy at all with it.  He can push himself across short distances without any trouble, but its kinda hard to maneuver corners when your feet are straight out though.  I am hoping that he decides to sleep in tomorrow.  He has been getting up SO early (6AM), and then wanting to take a nap about 2 hours later.  I didnt let him nap today.  He should be good and tired tonight.  

I cant help but look at his arms and just be shocked.  He has lost so much strength in them.  We let him start taking his electric wheelchair to school after Christmas.  Since then, he has put on about 30 pounds, and has lost almost all the strength from his arms.  The PT person at school swore the electric w/c would be easier on him, but I am seriously having doubts.  I think as far as him not having to push himself around the chair makes it easier,  but the side effects of it are the weight gain and loss of strength.
