Matt Update
Toronto - Freedom for Animals and the Kensington Market Stray Cat Rescue organized at the grassroots level to bring to the public's attention the details of the cruelty case involving three men videotaping themselves brutally torturing and murdering a cat we named "Kensington". We have recently been tipped that the man known as "Matt" in the videotape has been spotted in the Montreal area during the week of September 8, 2002 and may show signs of being recently assaulted. We have also been told that the cat's name may be "Eric."
Posters of this case have been updated to include more details of Matt's description and his possible whereabouts. Please see enclosed poster. We will be continuously updating the poster and distributing it all over Canada.
"Matt, turn yourself in. You know you'll eventually be caught. Freedom for Animals and the Kensington Market Stray Cat Rescue won't stop our search for Matt and we will never forget Kensington," said Suzanne Lahaie.
