The Beginning: When I was in my early adolescence I suddenly became sick and my life was ruined forever. I am now an adult who has struggled to learn how to live with what happened to me and what I still suffer through almost every day. However, there are no answers about what went wrong way back then or why I continue to have problems today. The only thing I know for certain is that my entire life was instantly uprooted and destroyed. I went from being a happy energetic pretty teenage girl with an over-inflated ego to a sick desperate girl almost over night. There was no trauma such as battering or sexual assault or anything else that precipitated this alteration in my life. Whatever happened was purely physical. |
