Gragenit

Turkoman's Nancy xx

Gragenit was imported from Germany and stood at GW Ranch in California. He received very high scores in his performance test, including a perfect 10 for Jumping Under Saddle. His sire, Grannus, is well known as a sire of jumpers.
Although Turkoman's Nancy did not have a performance career due to a pasture injury, her kind disposition and natural athleticism make her well suited for broodmare duties!

Grantham began exhibiting a love of jumping at a very early age. He continuously jumped things in his paddock that other horses simply went around. When I began trying to train him to trot beside his mom for his inspection, he either tore around the arena jumping all the jumps numerous times, or he stood in the middle watching me drag his mother round and round the ring. Above is a picture of him leaping over a fallen branch.

Grantham has had a happy-go-lucky, laid back attitude since birth. Very little upsets him. He retains his training very well and really wants to please. He loves human companionship and is the first one to greet you if you walk out into the pasture. He will begin under saddle work in the spring of 2005. I can see him excelling at eventing with his natural jumping abilities and boldness.
Here are some photos from the spring of 2005. Grantham officially turns 3 on June 16th.
