Formed in Feb 2006 in Colchester, Essex - Carved from Violence are currently causing a stir in the local metal scene. In April the band recorded their first 3 tracks in their drummers bedroom and began booking gigs and building up a local fanbase. The debut gig at The Twist on June 1st saw the place packed out and the band received a lot of positive feedback and over 25 demo sales. Off the back of that gig Ten Speed Promotions offered them a gig with Enter Shikari who unfortunately ended up pulling out due to double-booking themselves. Since then they have been in contact with a number of local promoters and have played gigs throughout East Anglia and beyond, making new fans and selling more CDs in each town.
After sending out many CDs to various webzines and review websites, the band have so far received one review which can be found here.
After a busy August, the band have re-recorded their original 3 demo tracks and an extra 2 and will be releasing an EP very soon.
