Congratulations on 'Kruelty Kampaing,' great fucking cd. Everything is well executed. How has it been received?
"Why thank you. The Nokturne 'Kruelty Kampaign' c.d. is dominating the whole black metal scene world wide. Nokturne have been getting tons of fan mail in support of the new release. The next release is almost ready it is going to kill! It's like the second part of 'Kruelty Kampaign.'"
Can you tell us the story behind Nokturne?
"No hype story behind Nokturne, only war crimes!"
"Azmodeus left the band because he is a coward. Psykho was found in the trenches of the U.S. deadly black metal war machine."
Why have you decided to add a new guitarist to Nokturne, wasn't Torment the rhythm guitarist for Nokturne?
"Nokturne wanted to have a louder performance and Schwarz Kommand is a close friend of the band, that is why we hired him as a new guitarist. Torment the previous guitarist was in Nokturne 3-4 years ago. It is no big deal anymore. Torment left the band because he didn't like playing in Nokturne anymore. The only thing I can say about him is that he is a lazy guitarist, very poor and slowed nokturne down, when he was part of the band, He still owes me some money; I invested in the band for him."
Split cds, you have one coming with Noctifer how is that coming along and when can we expect to see that in the distros? Did you guys get the one with Spear of Longinus?
"The Nokturne/Noctifer 'Wargod Domination' split c.d. will be out in December 2006. The Spear of Longinus/Nokturne 7 inch is coming soon."
There seems to be a growing number in Black Metal bands around L.A.. What do you think of these local bands such as Xasthur, Sothis, etc.?
"I am not familiar with either groups, sorry. I don't listen to new glamorized black metal, it is usually over rated and not real."
Kruelty Kampaign seems to be the best Nokturne cd yet, I know it's your latest but for the next full length will it be as brutal as K.K.?
"I like all our releases but yes the N.K.K c.d. is my favorite as well. The next Nokturne c.d. is going to be a monumental release. It will shred just as K.K. does."
