Can you tell us about Mortinatum?
"Now the band is bit stopped cause we are bit separated ones from others, and we haven't recorded nothing new from many time. The next release will be a 7" split with Indomitus, other split with Malleus, Panzerfrost and Pestiferium, and also other possible 7" splits. But these stuff as I told isn't new."
Mortinatum soon after forming brought out a demo 'Demo 2003' which was soon after its release picked up by War Productions, did you sent him a copy or did he find you on his own?
"I sent him a promo, cause I knew about his lable, and I thought was a great lable with great releases too. After listening to it, he decided to relase it.
"This split is like the release of the demo but in cdr and like split. Erun Dagoth from Forestdome offered me to do a split release with his band and Ghazghkull. From other side the guy of Oniric Rec. was interested in releasing our demo in cdr, so with this couple of possibilities finally 'Iberian Black Metal' arrived."
This was the last recording Luzifugo Rofocale participated in with Mortinatum, why was this?
"Wasn't with this demo, his latest recording was for the songs of the split with Malleus, Panzerfrost and Pestiferium. He decided to leave the band cause he thought in the band was any child trying to give a bad reputation to his other band Dark Faith, just stupid things."
"In the beginning we thought about it. From this time he left us, we haven't been very active and now we don't rehearse. The latest songs we did Morgoth and me only, I don't need more people. I prefer to do the things only with another person or alone."
In the Mortinatum site it is stated that.."In April of 2004 Luzifugo left the band, then of the recording of the songs for Extreme Alliance of Evil." Is this an unreleased album or an upcoming?
"As I told you before by the moment it's unreleased but will be released as a split with Malleus, Panzerfrost and Pestiferium. I will released it with my lable Gorpubelatze Productions on tape, and I don' know if it will be released in other formats."
Back in 2001 when the band was just commencing were there any goals set that you wanted to achieve?
"The only goal was to spread our inside hate over the mankind plague, no more. Just hate and scorn."
You have good music Raw and Grim, the way black metal should be, where do you gather your inspiration from to produce such great music?
"Inspiration arrives from many situations on the live, world in general. I have all I see, all fucking shit. All I see is despicable, decadent and sick. I hate the whole mankind!!! Musically I can name a few bands as Judas Iscariot, Dark Throne, Horna, Sargeist..."
