The Boerboel is a Mastiff type dog, originating from South Africa. They have been bred specifically as a family/farm protector who has a superbly even temperament. They make wonderful companions as well as protectors of the family, if needed. Boerboels are a large mastiff type dog which have been used for farm and protection work in South Africa. They are obedient, intelligent, self-assured and have an extremely strong guarding instinct. Perhaps surprisingly, this does not make the dog a vicious unsociable animal, because the Boerboel was in constant proximity to the farmers and their children, a badly behaved or aggressive dog was unacceptable. This very selective and practical breeding ethic has created a loving pet with an even temperament that is happiest in a family enviroment, where if needed he can put his protective instincts into action.

Diesel is 144lbs at 10 months. I expect him to pack on about 10 to 15 lbs of lean body weight as he matures. He is extremely agile and athletic for his size. He has a huge block head and a thick neck that run to a muscled back. He has exceptional hindquarters on very well angulated hind legs. The only thing better that his physical appearance is his temperment. He is supremely confident, mentally super strong, intelligent, and very friendly.

Didi is a very thick for a female. She has a large head, wide chest and back. Didi has thick boned and heavily muscled shoulders and hindquarters.
Didi is a very loving dog. She loves children, infact she prefers to interact and play with children.
