From Arizona To Texas Tomorrow the band will be heading out on the road again, this time from Arizona to New Mexico and ending up in Texas for a few shows. Then we'll work our way back to New Mexico and Arizona and head on home. Not too bad for a mini-tour, a week outside of California. The responsibilities of being a musician in a popular swing band and the responsibilities of being a husband and a father have been pretty hard on me lately. Appointments, trips to the auto mechanic, and conferences with teachers have been mixed with performances and rehearsals with the band at night and during the day. But I'm keeping the attitude that at least things seem to be moving onward. Perseverance is now my middle name it seems. I've now decided to keep entries short in my journal. At least if I consistently update short entries, then I'll still be consistent. Of course, I have been saying this before. Anyway, I HAVE been spending an enormous amount of time doing a complete makeover of my poetry site A Poetic Journey... I'm very happy with the outcome of the poetry site. I just need to add the new poetry & prose written this year, then I believe I'll be pretty much caught up, well... there's the updating of the featured poets section, but that'll have to wait... And now that I'm back into my journal entries like I should, I'm AGAIN going out-of-town... ...such is life!
