In The Doldrums?

I've been lagging as far as maintaining the online journal lately.   Not really a "bout" of laziness,  but rather I had gotten a new web authoring program that had taken a lot of my time.   Not that the program was time consuming to learn,  but rather it made me think about redesign my web sites and creating new ones,  so the planning stages where I usually write down notes,  had been very time consuming.

I had been tired lately,  due to the fact that the band played three nights in a row up in L.A. and I ended up going back and forth each night.   The two and a half hour drive tends to wear one out in time.   I'm just glad the band is playing five nights straight in San Diego this week.   Playing out of town is a necessity for any promising band,  especially in L.A.    But it's really tough sometimes.

I've made a promise to myself to keep up with the journal,  even if I just write a little ditty on how things are going in my life.

I've also been practicing drums a lot and studying the Akira Jimbo video.   I've also been concentrating on improving the sound of my drums by checking out new cymbals and drum heads.
