October 18, 2004 Baste's agent introduces him to Penelope, who will become his new "love-team" partner. Baste is initially dazzled and in awe of Penelope.
October 19, 2004 Over dinner, Penelope reveals her admiration for Baste's singing talent, while Baste tells her that he was so moved by her latest movie that he cried during one of her scenes.
Later, Baste is surprised when Penelope starts pretending that she and Baste are a real couple in front of fans. Baste is concerned that Sarah may hear of this, and get the wrong idea about their relationship. Penelope asks Baste is there is any chance he can accommodate someone like her in his life, but it becomes clear that Baste still loves Sarah.
October 21, 2004 Baste's agent is upset to learn from Penelope that Baste is missing an important showbiz interview to attend a friend's wedding.  Penelope also reveals that she found a copy of the wedding invitation in the dressing room.
Penelope appears at the wedding reception and cuts in on Baste and Sarah as they are dancing together. Sarah turns away, leaving Penelope and Baste to dance.
Penelope reveals to Baste that their agent is outside waiting for them; she warns Baste that unless he leaves the party with her, their agent will gate-crash the party. Baste leaves the party with Penelope.

Penelope's character was not
fully developed.
