CMax & Erma's corporate office Max & Erma's Restaurants operates over 85 restaurants in eleven states.
Come and learn about what it takes to operate a successful restaurant including marketing the concept,
the design and decor of the restaurant, and the creation of one of Max's famous desserts. Max & Erma's
is known for great food, outstanding service, and being a fun place to work.  Join us to see what the
excitement is all about! Dress in business casual. The students are going to work in our decor department
with our Director of Design and Decor Framing Manager to frame something themselves.  I would suggest a
snapshot, but it can be anything as long as it is 4 x 6.  A favorite snapshot would look great or picture of
themselves would be really fun to frame. Students must be highly recommended to be considered for selection.

The Ohio State University Department of Psychology is noted for a long history of excellence in research,
teaching, and service. Jeans are okay or business casual. Lunch will be salad and pizza at 11 am
Proposed job shadowing:  One person is an academic advisor, she will be talking to them about what
she does with advising students, she has a meeting were she will be showing
a student how to set up a web site, and then just dealing with student
walk-ins.

Another is an Office Associate who works on a journal for one of the
professor's.  She will explain the process of creating the manuscript and
putting into journal form.  She is also a recent OSU graduate and will talk
to them about being a student at OSU.

The third is also an Office Associate who will be discussing his daily tasks
which include processing orders, and travel requests. Also he works with the
professors and grad students with questions about the labs.

And a few of them will be with me and as the human Resource specialist I was
going to talk to them about what it takes to keep the department running
smoothly and keeping the employees happy and satisfied.  I intend to talk
about the process of becoming an OSU employee and the benefits that go along
with it.  Also show them how to do timekeeping, get someone hired, and
terminated in the system.

Some fields that graduates with a bachelor's degree in Psychology could enter are:
administration and management
research or laboratory assistant
employment interviewing
childcare
marketing and public relations
